Professor Filip Kumanov is a specialist endocrinologist and andrologist in the city of Sofia with scientific interests and clinical practice in endocrinology, neuroendocrinology, reproductive medicine, andrology, metabolic disorders, puberty, menopause, history and theory of medicine. He has specialised in Munich, Rome and the USA.
Prof Kumanov is one of the best university professors with extensive clinical experience and a world-renowned authority in the field of endocrinology.
He has participated in numerous national congresses and seminars in the field, and has presented reports at international forums at Humboldt University (Berlin), Cleveland Clinic Foundation (USA) and Malmö (Sweden).
He is the author of more than 250 original articles and reviews in our country and in international scientific publications, chapters in textbooks and monographs on endocrinology; participation in national and international forums. Compiler and co-author of the monograph "Puberty: physiology and abnormalities" Springer International Publishing, 2016. Over 1000 citations of his scientific work in prestigious international publications.
